Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s daughter, Danielle, has yanked off her father’s name from her profile on social media. Danielle, who proudly used her father’s name, Danielle Yul Edochie, on her social media profiles has now edited her name to be Danielle Diana Dubem.
A swift examination of Danielle’s Instagram page revealed the modification in her name. The alteration prompted an outpouring of praise and support from many quarters, lauding the teenager for her bold decision.

Mr Azeez applauded her saying, “SHE JUST TOOK A BOLD STEP TO DISOWN HER DAD! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.”

Following the public drama between her parents, Danielle opted to remove her father’s name from her profile, whereas her mother, May Yul Edochie, retained it on her own social media accounts.
In a public spat on social media, Yul Edochie addressed May’s New Year post, in which she described the past year as challenging and shared personal experiences, including mourning their deceased son, Kambilichukwu.
Yul accused May of misleading the public about her emotional state, alleging that she carried out her activities with the support of her married boyfriend.
In contrast, May’s New Year speech highlighted the series of unfortunate events she faced in 2023, portraying it as a year filled with sorrow.
This contrasted sharply with Yul’s perspective, who viewed the past year as his best, marked by accomplishments and divine favor.
