BBNaija Doyin slams Wizkid – ‘Stop chasing clout, drop hit’

Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, also known as Doyin, has voiced her disapproval of a well-known artist’s behavior on social media. Recent reports reveal that the artist, widely recognized as Wizkid, ignited controversy on Monday by subtly criticizing fellow musicians such as Davido and Don Jazzy.

Doyin expressed her opinion, stating that the musician seemed to be seeking attention and advised them to concentrate on their music releases instead. This critique comes amidst ongoing debates within the entertainment industry, where social media presence often intersects with artistic credibility and dedication to craft.

She particularly berated Wizkid for “disrespecting” Don Jazzy.

On her Instagram page, she wrote: “Don Jazzy is still the JayZ of the Nigerian music industry. If you try to disrespect him, it just shows your head is not correct. No be to dey chase clout, drop hit!”

Similarly, reality TV star and media personality, Tacha has warned Wizkid that any slander or disrespect towards Don Jazzy won’t be tolerated.

Speaking in a video message shared via her social media, Tacha noted that Don Jazzy has made significant impacts on the Nigerian music industry.

She claimed that without Don Jazzy, half of the Afrobeats industry won’t exist.

Tacha said, “No Don Jazzy slander will be tolerated. Don Jazzy’s impacts on the entertainment industry can never be overemphasized.

“If you have to take off Don Jazzy’s inputs on the industry, that would be you taking half of Afrobeats away. Because who would you be listening to? Don Jazzy has grown a lot of global superstars.

“This is somebody that doesn’t restrict himself to the music industry alone. Don Jazzy is there for everybody regardless of their status.”

Meanwhile, Don Jazzy has reacted to Wizkid’s shade at him by unfollowing the Starboy boss on Instagram.
