After Juventus has been knocked out of the Champions League by Porto, Pirlo has to win the derby against Torino on April 3, otherwise, he faces the sack.
Juve is now third in the table, four points from rivals AC Milan in second, who won on Sunday.
Qualifying for the Champions League places is also far from being guaranteed, as they are currently just two points ahead of Napoli in fifth place.
