MISS ZOZIBINI TUNZI: MISS UNIVERSE 2019 IS SOUTH AFRICAN

The annual Miss Universe beauty pageant took place on Sunday, at the new Tyler Perry studio in Atlanta and Miss Zozibini TUNZI emerged winner, followed by miss Puerto Rico and Miss Mexico.

New Miss universe was holding tight to the runner-up’s hands tightly while host Steve Harvey was announcing her victory but it was big smiles after. She was crowned by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray of the Philippines. It was glamorous, emotional, empowering and full of beautiful people.

She said, “I grew up in a world where a woman who looks like me — with my kind of skin and my kind of hair — was never considered to be beautiful,” she said in her last response. “I think it is time that that stops today. I want children to look at me and see my face and I want them to see their faces reflected in mine.”
