Davido announces acting debut in a Hollywood film.

Nigerian singer Davido is set to make his acting debut in a Hollywood film.

The new film’s plot is still being kept under wraps. However, in an interview with DJ Carisma on ‘Checc’d In Carisma,’ the singer stated that filming is still going on in California.

Davido also stated that, unlike his Hollywood debut in ‘Coming 2 America,’ he will be acting in the forthcoming film.

“I got movies coming on,” Davido said. “I did a little acting in ‘Coming to America 2’ but I didn’t really act, I performed at the wedding. Now I’m about to do a little acting, I just got enrolled in this movie, part of why I’m out here.”

Fans were also teased recently with pictures of a movie set trailer posted on Instagram by the celebrity singer.
