Drake also known as champagne papi is coming under fire online for calling Sophie Brussaux, the mother of his child, a “fluke.”
Drake’s interesting choice of words pops up in his recent freestyle, “When to Say When.” In the song, Drake raps, “baby mama fluke, but I love her for who she is,” which understandably upset a few of his fans on Twitter.
However, what might just be a normal pick up line for drake; his fans are raging over it. See some comments made by his fans who finds the “fluke” offensive.

It’s in the open that Drake has done questionable things in the past, you will agree with me, There was that time he and Chris Brown reportedly got into a bar fight over Rihanna, that other time he was exposed for keeping his two-year-old son a secret. And now, Drake’s calling Sophie Brussaux, the mother of his child, a “fluke.” Oh Yes, a “Fluke”.

Other fans weren’t outraged and pointed out that the textbook definition of fluke is something that’s “accidentally successful or lucky,” meaning that he probably meant it in a good way. (BTW, “fluke” can have a negative connotation depending on the way it is used.)
Drake didn’t even diss his Babymama… a fluke means unexpected/with luck on side

Just to be clear on this, Drake seems to respect Sophie otherwise and has said that he’s trying his best to parent well with her despite their unique circumstances. Back in 2018, Drake appeared on LeBron James’s show, The Shop, and revealed that he wants his son and his fans to be good to Sophie. He said: “I’m still learning to communicate with a woman who, you know, we’ve had our moments. I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened. But I don’t have any desire for him to not love his mother. I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We have found ourselves in a situation, and we are both equally responsible. Now, I’m just really excited to be a great father.”
