Nollywood star actor Nosa Rex opens up about the challenges he faces in the industry today.
The actor, in a recent interview, revealed that while he has no regrets about any role he has played in his decade long career, he has serious reservations about playing a homosexual character.
The actor shared, “I have never regretted playing any role. I am an actor and I am supposed to be able to interpret any character I am given. However, I don’t think I can ever act as a gay person.
Nosa Rex restated his position by saying, “I don’t think I will play the role of a gay if it’s deeper than just saying it. No, I have never played that role and I don’t think I will want to.”
Speaking about what being an actor and fame has done for him, without missing words, Rex said it has done a lot and has taught him a lot about life too. “Well it has done a lot and has taught me a lot about life. I mean getting to play different roles and actually knowing what people are going through every day. It has opened my eyes to so many things and I have met great people. It brings favour although it has its own negative side as well.”
