NIGERIAN ARTIST GET GLOBAL RECOGNITION AFTER A PENCIL DRAWING OF DJ KHALED

A Nigerian artist, Kemz Emmanuel has become the talk of the world after he painted renowned American Disc Jockey and musician, DJ Khaled.

His drawing which was done using a pencil was shared on his twitter handle where he mentioned DJ Khaled and solicited retweets from his followers to help him reach out to the DJ.

He tweeted: “Hello guys, my name is a kemz Emmanuel. This is my pencil drawing of @djkhaled Help me retweet till he sees this. Thank you fam”

His tweet which went viral, fortunately, reached DJ Khaled who saw it and retweeted it. An impressed DJ Khaled wrote: “Wow Amazing!”.

He has so far shared the painting on his instastory and it has been receiving a lot of positive reviews.

Kemz Emmanuel got more than what he was looking for as his tweet has generated a global conversation around his talent.

We have 1001 of the likes of Kemz Emmanuel in Africa but lack of support and exposure has not really helped their craft in anyway.
