THE MOVIE ‘SUGAR RUSH IS BACK IN CINEMAS AFTER (NFVCB) TEMPORARY SUSPENSION

The producer of popular movie SUGAR RUSH Jade Osiberu announced that the movie is back in cinemas.  Sugar Rush was banned a week ago by NFVCB because the temporary approval given for the movie has expired.

Due to the ban, there was a lot of outrage on social media by fans and Nigerians, which has turned to a trending topic using the #Bringbacksugarrush. NFVCB immediately issued a statement via Facebook explaining the reason for the ban of the movie.

The movie was suspended about a week ago, and on Thursday, January 16th 2020 reinstatement was announced by producer Jade via Instagram. She seized the opportunity to thank all the people who reached out and the NFVCB for doing their best in getting the movie back in the cinema.

“We got such an outpouring of love in the last week, I couldn’t respond to all the calls and messages but your kind words and prayers were very encouraging ️Thank you soo much everyone. Thanks in particular to @alhadedayothomas and the @nfvcb for helping to get us back on the big screen and for the unwavering support of the industry.”
