Max Breakfast

Enjoy your mornings with two of Abuja’s favourite OAP’s, Jennifer, Ebenezer and aboki. We start out by dedicating the day to someone special including yourself. This is themed according to the day of the week; for instance, Moody Mondays are about how people do not wish to be going to work while Funky Fridays are about the plans they have after work etc. Then we move on to educating the listener on discoveries ranging from "lost and founds" (places, items and events) to advancements in modern technology.

Court Rules On Toke Makinwa Suit

Written by on November 13, 2020

The court has finally ruled on the defamation suit involving media personality, Toke Makinwa and her ex Maje Ayida.

Maje filed a defamation suit to stop Toke from promoting and selling her memoir, ‘On Becoming’. In the memoir, Toke Makinwa revealed all that happened in their 13 year relationship including how her husband got his girlfriend pregnant while married to her.

The ex-husband argued that the memoir contained defamatory words about him.

Maje requested that she stop circulating the book and should recall and destroy all the already sold copies.

He also demanded N100m in damages which he intends to donate to charity.

Justice Ogunjobi of the Lagos State High Court stated he finds only the contents of page 54 line 11-16 and page 83, Line 1 of the 1st defendants’ book as Defamatory.

The court awarded N500,000 each for the two pages and directed that Toke should not print those pages in  future.
