Nicolas Pepe Tenders Apology to Fans

Arsenal striker apologizes for his unruly behavior during Arsenal’s draw with Leeds United yesterday.

Nicolas Pepe headbutted Leeds wing-back Ezgjan Alioski and he was sent off in the process following a red card.

Mikel Arteta has come out to condemn Pepe’s conduct at Elland Road was unacceptable.

Arsenal who once topped the league in the opening matches of this season are now struggling at the bottom half.

Pepe wrote on Instagram:

“I have let my team down at a crucial time of the game, and there is no excuses for my behaviour.

I am deeply sorry, and would like to apologise to the fans, my team-mates, my coach, and everyone else at the club.”
